Unable to Apply New License to CIM Channels NetAgent

THIS ARTICLE APPLIES TO:
All versions of Moxie Channels NetAgent.
ISSUE DESCRIPTION:
Administrator is unable to apply new license due to Moxie Channels NetAgent because the old license has expired and the Moxie Channels Web Administrator will not open.
ROOT CAUSE:
If the license is not renewed before it expires, the NetAgent Service will not start in Services.
SOLUTION OR WORK AROUND:
- Contact your Account Manager to receive a new license key.
- Make sure NetAgenet service is stopped before proceeding.
- On the Application Server, click [START], then select Run. Type 'regedit' into the Run dialog box and click 'OK.'
- Navigate from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, to SOFTWARE. Next find Talisma, then click on NetAgentServer. Under NetAgentServer should be the IP address of your server.
Inside the IP address is the Current Version folder.
- Open the LICENSE key, enter the new key and click Save.
- Exit Regedit and restart the NetAgent Service.
AFFECTED SYSTEMS & USERS:
Moxie Channels NetAgent Administrators with an expired license.
