CIM Channels Web Administrator Login Error After Upgrade from 8.10.431 to 8.32.547

THIS ARTICLE APPLIES TO:

Moxie Channels NetAgent version 8.10.431

ISSUE DESCRIPTION:

After upgrading from from CIM Channels NetAgent version 8.10.431 to 8.30.478, there is an error message presented when logging into the Moxie Channels Web Administrator :
Unable to log in to Web Administrator
Unknown Response Received


ROOT CAUSE:

The Web Service Extension has the incorrect path



This path points to the incorrect location of srvgate.dll

SOLUTION OR WORK AROUND:

The correct path should correspond to the new installation location:

C:\Program Files\nGenera\NetAgent Server\IP_address

  1. Create a new Web service Extension i.e nGenera – Netagent ISAPI filter pointing to
        C:\Program Files\nGenera\NetAgent Server\10.175.50.1\http\scripts
  2. Set the state to be Allowed.
