My Portal Will Not Search Foreign Languages

ISSUE DESCRIPTION:

Foreign language articles are not returned in a search of the Knoweldgebase portal.

ROOT CAUSE:

This is caused by a search engine limitation which allows one language per portal. A work around is available.

SOLUTION OR WORK AROUND:

To work around this issue, you must create a portal for each language you would like to support (and be licensed for multiple languages).  Provide links to users to allow them to switch between languages.

If you require licensing for additional languages, please contact your sales account manager to obtain the necessary license adjustment. If you are not sure who your Moxie Software account manager is please call 1-877-373-7848 (Option 1) and we will find the account manager for you.

AFFECTED SYSTEMS & USERS:

Knowledgebase administrators attempting to support multiple languages within their portals.
