When I click on an article from search results it asks me to open or save.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION:

End user logs into customer facing portal and performs a search and results are returned.  The user clicks on one of the articles and instead of displaying in the customer facing portal the user encounters a dialog box asking if they would like to open or save the article.

ROOT CAUSE:

This is by design.  This will happen with any articles that originate in a thrid party application like Microsoft Word. 

SOLUTION OR WORK AROUND:

Articles created in the online editor, in Word and then converted to html and in native html should display without error providing there are no issues with NTFS permissions on the actual files.
