Go to a Search Snap-in in Portal Style #2 and Receive an Error when Accessing the Snap-in.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION:
Administrator should have the ability to go to portal snap-in utilizing Portal Style # 2 portal and not receive an error.
Repro Steps:
1. Login to admin control panel.
2. Go to Portal and select portal desired from the list of customer facing portals to utilize the portal Search Snap-In feature.
3. Go to Portal Snap Ins and select search view icon.
4. Select Go to Search Snap Icon and see the application error below:
Server Error in '/' Application
Object reference not set to an instance of an object
line 375: session("searchtype') = settingvalvue.defaultsearchtype
ROOT CAUSE:
SOLUTION OR WORK AROUND:
To correct the error message on the search snap-in please take the following steps:
· Go to the portal that is encountering this issue and open the portal by selecting the name of the portal.
· Select portal modules.
· Select search options.
· Make sure under search using section at least one of the search capabilities is checked as a search method or an error will be received when accessing the search snap-in components.
· Select save after making changes to the search using section.
