Unable to Type in a Chat Portal While Using a Safari Browser

All versions of Knowledgebase 8.3.2 prior to HF 4.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION:

Customers using the Safari web browser can not type in a Moxie Channels NetAgent Chat Session. The Send button is also absent.

ROOT CAUSE:

Improper fomatting prevented customers in a chat session from being able to type and view the Send button while using Chat in a Safari web browser.

SOLUTION OR WORK AROUND:

This issue has been addressed in Moxie Channels NetAgent version 8.3.2 Hot Fix 4. Please upgrade to this Hot Fix to resolve this issue.

AFFECTED SYSTEMS & USERS:

Users using Safari when initiating a Chat session.
