Unable to Transfer Emails

THIS ARTICLE APPLIES TO:

Moxie Channels NetAgent (Email) version 7.0 and later.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION:

Agents are unable to transfer emails to other mailboxes.

ROOT CAUSE:

This is due to lack of sufficient Channel Permissions assigned to the agent; thus preventing the agent from being able to transfer the mails to another mailbox.

SOLUTION OR WORK AROUND:

To enable the 'Transfer to another Mailbox' option in the Moxie Channels Web Administrator:

  1. Log in to the Cim Channels Web Administrator using an administration account.
  2. Select Accounts then User Accounts .
  3. Click on the Login Name of the agent you wish to grant permissions.
  4. On the Account Information page, scroll down and click on the Show Advanced Settings button.
  5. Now click on the Channel Permissions tab.
  6. Under the section Permission for Mailboxes, place a check mark in the 'Transfer to another Mailbox' column for each mailbox necessary.
