Creating a Shortcut Icon to the Start Agent Client Login Window

THIS ARTICLE APPLIES TO:

Moxie Channels NetAgent version 7.0 and later.

PROCESS:

Adding a desktop shortcut icon can reduce the number of clicks an Agent must make to launch the Agent Client.
  1. In Internet Explorer, navigate to: http://SERVERNAME/netagent/launch.html (where SERVERNAME is the full server path where Moxie Channels NetAgent is installed).
  2. Click on the Agent Client link.
    (This will bring you to the Start Agent Client page at http://servername/NetAgent/jac/javaagent.aspx)


  3. Right click on Start Agent Client and choose Save Target As...
  4. Save to your desktop.
  5. Rename this icon as desired being sure to keep the .jnlp file extension.
