THIS ARTICLE APPLIES TO:
All versions of Knowledgebase.
ISSUE DESCRIPTION:
Recipents are recieving duplicate emails from the Knowledgebase.
ROOT CAUSE:
Multiple Knowledgebase Applications running on load balanced servers can result in duplicate emails being sent.
SOLUTION OR WORK AROUND:
The KBNotification and KBSubscription Scheduled tasks are running on more then one server in the load balance environment.
These two jobs/tasks only need to run on one server. Running it on more than one system fires multiple emails to the user.
Only one Application Server should run be running the two scheduled tasks. They should be disabled on all other servers.
