ISSUE DESCRIPTION:

Windows Server 2008 is not a supported platform, for any version of Knowledgebase prior to version 9.0.

ROOT CAUSE:

SOLUTION OR WORK AROUND:

Windows Server 2008 is supported by Knowledgebase 9.0. It is suggested that any organizations wishing to utilize Windows Server 2008 upgrade to Knowledgebase 9.0 as well.
