Internet Explorer 8 Does Not Allow Access to the KB Admin Control Panel

Knowledgebase version 8.3.2 and later.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION:

Internal Users cannot log into KB Admin Control Panel using Internet Explorer 8. Internal Users receive this error message: "You must use IE 6 or higher."

ROOT CAUSE:

SOLUTION OR WORK AROUND:

Some Internet Explorer plugins can cause this problem. For example "Google Chrome Frame" has been documented as causing this error. Remove or disable any plug ins or addons and attempt to log in again.
