Receive Error Message When Using Internet Explorer 8 and Logging into KB Admin Control Panel

THIS ARTICLE APPLIES TO:
Knowledgebase 8.3.2 and later
ISSUE DESCRIPTION:
Knowledgebase Administrators encounter an error message similar to "You must use Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 or higher" when using Microsoft Internet Explorer as a browser and attempting to log into the KB Admin Control Panel.
ROOT CAUSE:
This issue is a result of installing certain plugins for Microsoft Internet Explorer into your browser. "Google Chrome Frame" is one such example.
SOLUTION OR WORK AROUND:
Examine your currently installed browser add ins.
Remove them one by one until you are able to log into the KB Admin Control Panel successfully.
Remember to restart your local machine after making configuration changes.
AFFECTED SYSTEMS & USERS:
All Knowledgebase Admins with a Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 browser.
