Internal User Cannot Log Into Customer Portal

THIS ARTICLE APPLIES TO:

All versions of Knowledgebase.

PROCESS:

Internal User accounts are used to access only the KB Admin Control Panel. Internal User accounts cannot log into Registered/Secured/Personalized Customer Portals. 

In order for a user to access a Registered/Secured/Personalized Portal, he/she must have an External User account created.

AFFECTED SYSTEMS & USERS:

Knowledgebase users who wish to log into the Knowledgebase via both the KB Admin Control Panel and the Customer Portal.
