PROCESS:
Overview:
Sometimes there is a need to create a link to an actual category in the Knowledgebase. Copying the links will not yield the desired results. However, the Knowledgebase does have a mechanism in place for just this purpose.
Steps:
The categories you wish to link to must already be created. Once this is done, simply log in to the KB Admin Control Panel and follow these steps:
Sometimes there is a need to create a link to an actual category in the Knowledgebase. Copying the links will not yield the desired results. However, the Knowledgebase does have a mechanism in place for just this purpose.
Steps:
The categories you wish to link to must already be created. Once this is done, simply log in to the KB Admin Control Panel and follow these steps:
- Click the Portal tab at the top of the KB Admin Control Panel.
- On the following screen (shown below) click on the name of the Portal where the category you want to link to should display.
- Find the section entitled "Website Integration” and click on Configure as shown:
- Scroll down to "Option 5: Direct Link to Category" and click on the Knowledgebase containing the category, and then click on the category itself.
- The code to copy and paste to link to the category will be displayed in the box below. Simply copy and paste this into your HTML.
