Installing Instant Publisher

PROCESS:

Use the following steps when installing Instant Publisher:

  1. Download Instant Publisher from the Home tab of the KB Admin Control Panel (in the Download Area).
  2. Unzip the files to a local folder on the end users local machine.
  3. Execute the KB Instant Publisher.msi.
  4. At the Welcome Screen choose Next.
  5. Read and accept the license agreement.
  6. Click Next.
  7. Type your user’s name and organization information.
  8. Choose who can access this software.
    • Example: "I choose to allow anyone that is logged onto this computer."
  9. Click Next.
  10. Specify the data path where you’d like the application placed or accept the default.
  11. Click Next.
  12. Click Next again.
  13. The installer will install the Instant Publisher software.
  14. Click Finish.

Note: With the marketplace beggining to roll out 64 bit client machines the question was posed will this work on 64 bit machines?  It was not designed to work on 64 bit machines.  It is on the product roadmap for a future version.
