THIS ARTICLE APPLIES TO:
Knowledgebase 8.0.4 and above.
PROCESS:
All Internal Users have an Internal Access Profile attached to their user accounts. The Internal Access Profile defines permissions to access or restrict access to various parts of the Knoweledgebase Admin Control Panel.
For the “Feedback” report the way to restrict users from deleting the logged user feedback is by ensuring the “Delete Feedback” permission is not selected under the “feedback” permission box in the users' Internal Access Profile.
This will allow your Internal Users to view the feedback from users in the “Feedback Report”, but will ensure they don’t have the ability to delete the feedback remarks as shown in the example below.
AFFECTED SYSTEMS & USERS:
Internal Users who should have permission to view feedback, but not delete it.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
When limiting access via the Internal Access Profile, please ensure each user profile has appropriate permissions to perform the tasks required of their role. Administrators should avoid overly limiting the Administrators Internal Access Profile to ensure they do not inadvertently restrict functionality required by the various user groups.
ESCALATION PROCEDURE:
