Indexing Hyperlinks with the Autonomy Based Knowledgebase System

THIS ARTICLE APPLIES TO:

All versions of Knowledgebase 8.1 and later.

PROCESS:

  1. Log on to the Knowledgebase Application Server with an account that has administrative privilages.
  2. Navigate to x:\Program Files\Knowledgebase.Net\Autonomy\IDOLServer\FileSystemFetch (where x is the hard drive where your Knoweldgebase is installed).
  3. Open AutonomyFileSystemFetch.cfg file using notepad.
  4. Remove the leading slashes (//) from the line : //ImportStripLinks=false.


     


     
  5. Save the file and then run autonomy reset.

Administrators that wish to have hyperlinks indexed by the Autonomy Search Engine.
