Determining Knowledgebase Product Version for Shared Hosted Environments

ISSUE DESCRIPTION:

How does someone on a shared hosted Knowledgebase determine their product version?

ROOT CAUSE:

Users, whose instance of Knowledgebase is located within a shared hosted cluster, have asked how to determine their product version and build information. Normally, within the Admin Control Panel there is an About link a user can click to see their product version and build information. 



However, in shared hosted environments, this link is not available. Its absence results in some users having to contact Moxie Support to ask their product version.

SOLUTION OR WORK AROUND:

Many users are surprised to learn that they see their product version every time they log into the Admin Control Panel, but may not have noticed it. The version and build are displayed on the login page to the Admin Panel to the upper right of the UserName box.
