Applying a New Knowledgebase License Key

THIS ARTICLE APPLIES TO:

All versions of Moxie Software Knowledgebase

PROCESS:

1. On the computer where the KB Admin component is installed, from

Start, All Programs, nGenera, click KB Registration. The KB License Registration page is displayed. 

Note: Please make a note that you may find the KB Registration directly in the root of the start menu or in a folder call Talisma if you have a older version. If you cannot locate it please contact our support team. Our contact information is at the bottom of this article.



2. Open the license key using a text editor, such as Notepad and copy the contents of the file.

3. Paste the contents of the new license key file in the textbox and click OK. Ensure that there are no return characters at the end of the license key.

Tip: After you have pasted the license key, click at the end of the last character and hit the delete key a few times. This will prevent any "blank" carriage returns from being recognized by the KB Registration Utility.
