Where is My Personalized Portal in My New Customer Portal Style 4 in KB 9.0.1 Hotfix 2?

In Personalized Portals on Knowledgebase 8.3 instances, the following is visible on the home page:

  • Hot Topics

  • Latest Articles

  • Top 10 Frequently Asked Questions

  • Top Favorite Articles

 

When selecting the “Personalization” tab at the top of the customer portal this is visible:

  • My Latest Articles Viewed

  • My Last Searches

    These items are available in versions Knowledgebase 8.0.4 through Knowledgebase 8.3.2 Hotfix 3.

    However, when viewing a “Personalized” portal in KB 9.0.1 and later utilizing Portal Style 4 (PS4) those items do not appear. “Personalized” PS4 portals show very differently from portal styles 1, 2, and 3.

·         First major item that will be noticed is that there is no “Personalization” tabs among the top tabs displayed on the style 4 portals.

o   No “Personalization” Tab

·         Next thing that will be noted is that only the following categories are displayed:

o   Hot Topics

o   Latest Articles

§  The following categories are not available in Portal style 4 as you previously had available in portal styles “1,2,3”

·         My Latest Articles Viewed

·         My Last Searches

·         Top Favorite Articles

 

The Knowledgebase Program Group will be adding back the following “Widgets” at a later time in Portal Style 4:

·         My Last Searches

·         Top Favorite Articles
