PROCESS:
By creating a host name for a Portal, domain names can be created for the Portal, so it is not necessary to use the entire Portal URL.
Example
Add knowledgebase.yourcompany.com as a host name to point to a Portal, and that would be the Portal URL. The appropriate DNS records on the DNS server must also be created.
