Instant Publisher Issue

THIS ARTICLE APPLIES TO:

ISSUE DESCRIPTION:

Once the instant publisher is downloaded from the KB Admin and once the setup is run, we should be able to upload (word, text, html, excel etc ) files directly by right clicking on them and by selecting the option upload to knowledgebase


However,  when you try right click on any file and select the option upload to knowledgebase it errors out
"Application has generated an exception that could not be handled"

RESOLVED IN:

This issue has been resolved by putting the Microsoft.VisualBasic.Compatibility.dll file into the following location of the machine where the instant publisher is installed.

Location: “<Drive>:\Program Files\KnowledgeBase.net\Instant Publisher” folder
