Autonomy DIH Uninstall Instructions

THIS ARTICLE APPLIES TO:

Moxie Knowledge version 9.4

PROCESS:

Please note, these instructions vary depending upon the patch version of 9.4. 

9.4.0 - 9.4.10 Autonomy DIH Uninstall Instructions

  1. Open Autonomy DIH -> setup.exe and Run as "administrator"
  2. Select remove
  3. Wait for the un-installation to complete
  4. Restart the system if required.

After uninstallation:

  1. Go to windows services -> right click on AutonomyDIH and stop
  2. Delete AutonomyDIH service from server
  3. Open command prompt as administrator -> "sc delete AutonomyDIH"
  4. Verify the service is removed
  5. Delete <programs path>\Autonomy\IDOLServer\DIH folder
  6. Remove below entries from <programs path>\shared.config file

    <add key="autonomyIndexPort" value="16001"/>
    <add key="autonomyServicePort" value="16002"/>
     
  7. Change <programs path>\Autonomy\IDOLServer\ConnectorFramework\AutonomyConnectorFramework.cfg

    [index]
    ACIPort = 9000 (From 16000)
     
  8. Restart Service AutonomyConnectorFramework
  9. Reset IIS

9.4.11 and later Autonomy DIH Uninstall Instructions

  1. Open Autonomy DIH -> setup.exe and Run as "administrator"
  2. Select remove
  3. Wait for the un-installation to complete
  4. Restart the system if required.

After uninstallation

  1. Verify service "AutonomyDIH" is removed from windows services
  2. Verify <programs path>\Autonomy\IDOLServer\DIH folder is removed
  3. Remove below entries from <programs path>\shared.config file

    <add key="autonomyIndexPort" value="16001"/>
    <add key="autonomyServicePort" value="16002"/>
     
  4. Change <programs path>\Autonomy\IDOLServer\CFS\cfs.cfg

    [index]
    ACIPort = 9000 (From 16000)
     
  5. Restart Service CFS
  6. Reset IIS
