Knowledge v9.4 Latest Release Updates

Customers on Knowledge version 9.4 are encouraged to upgrade to the latest patch release. Moxie's support portal enables cloud customers to submit an upgrade request. On-premise customers can download releases from the support portal (please refer to the "Hot Fixes" tab of the Knowledgebase downloads section).

Upgrade Path

KB patch releases must be installed sequentially until version 9.4.6. Clients can install the latest patch release after 9.4.6 has been installed.

  • Fixed an issue in the Responsive Portal so that entering an article number in the search box will go directly to the associated article, instead of the search results page, when “enhanced numeric search” is disabled. (KBP-3911)

  • Fixed an issue that prevented all Active Directory groups from being displayed in the KB Admin Internal Profile Mapping screen. (KBP-3788)

  • Resolved an issue that prevented the installer from running if the KBADMIN password for Microsoft SQL was changed (KBP-4311)
  • Resolved an issue that caused the Article Hit report to return different results when run for the same time period on different days (KBP-4262)
  • Resolved an issue that prevented a FAQ with a single quote in the title from opening in Portal Style 4 (KBP-4196)

  • Upgraded Autonomy IDOL to version 10.11. Please note: your knowledgebase will be re-indexed after applying this patch.

  • Resolved an issue that caused article template sections (bodies) to be re-ordered when an article template was re-uploaded (KBP-4682)
  • Resolved an issue in Portal Style 4 (PS4) that caused an article's parent content to be hidden when ‘Expand Embedded Articles’ is unchecked in the external access profile and ‘Enable Expand/Collapse for Embedded Articles’ is enabled in the portal's settings

  • Resolved an issue that prevented the User Activity report from displaying the complete result set when "all dates" is selected in the filter (KBP-4888)
  • Excel macro enabled workbooks (XLSM files) will now be indexed by the search engine and returned in the search results (KBP-4853)

  • Resolved an issue with HTML code displaying erroneously in glossary entries (KBP-5023)
  • Resolved an issue in Portal Style 4 (PS4) when article links were opened in a new window (KBP-4819)

  • Resolved an issue in the Responsive portal that caused search queries to ignore words after an ampersand (&) character (KBP-5090)
  • Resolved an issue that prevented the Portal Style 4 website integration feature from functioning correctly with secure & personalized portals (KBP-5086)
  • Enhanced the security of portal login screens by disabling the ability for web browsers to autofill the user's password (KBP-5029)
